Manufactured of extra heavy fabric, the absorption \u2013 unlike regular curtains \u2013 works very effectively far into the low mid-range frequencies. It is used in cases where a maximum possible linear absorption is required, for example in recording studios, control rooms, recording rooms or home theaters. Also for living rooms where it is very reverberant, it can provide a calming of the room\u2019s acoustics.<\/p>\n\n<p>The HOFA Acoustic Curtain \u201cISO\u201d combines sound absorption and sound insulation. Two layers of heavy acoustic material enable efficient absorption of high and mid frequencies.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, an acoustic impermeable foil is incorporated in order to enhance the sound insulation.
