HOFA-Akustik planned and implemented the acoustic design for the new Atmos Control Room D at the HOFA-Studios. This room was specifically developed for professional 3D audio productions. The goal was to create a listening space that was as neutral and controlled as possible for productions in the 3D audio format. Compared to a traditional stereo control room, significantly more early reflection points had to be considered. In addition, the technology demands that every sound and phantom sound source be precisely localizable.
