Effective Sound Absorber for the Wall
The wall sail is made of acoustically highly effective HOFA PureAkust and stylishly counteracts unwanted reverberation in your room. With the optionally available wall mounting system HOFA PureFix, the acoustic effectiveness can be significantly increased.
Stylish Acoustic Element
The minimalist design of the HOFA wall sail allows it to be used as a decorative wall element. It also pairs very well with the HOFA ceiling sail and the HOFA partition, which are made from the same material.

The HOFA Style-Line
The products of the HOFA Style-Line combine acoustic effectiveness with a subtle appearance. Ceiling sails, wall sails, partitions, and desk dividers are made from the same highly absorptive material and therefore match each other perfectly.
With the products of the HOFA Style-Line, we can also fulfill a wide range of individual design requests (colors, coatings, special sizes, and shapes) upon request.

Frequently asked questions
Are wall sails free from harmful substances?
Of course!
HOFA wall sails are made of PureAkust and are harmless to health—especially when compared to acoustic products made from glass or rock wool. They are tested for harmful substances, odor-neutral, free of formaldehyde, bacteriostatic, and allergy-friendly.
The PureAkust material also meets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (highest product class).

Which fire protection class do the wall sails meet?
HOFA wall sails are fire retardant (B1) according to DIN 4102-1 and EN 13501-1.
Where is the wall sail made?
HOFA wall sails, like all other acoustic modules from HOFA, are manufactured in Germany.

Sustainable acoustics – made in Germany
At HOFA-Akustik, we consider sustainability an integral part of our product development by using resources such as wood, climate-positive natural fibres and recycled materials. In addition, we work with local partners to manufacture our products in an eco-friendly way and keep transport distances short.
Acoustic effectiveness
Despite its slim material thickness of 40 mm, which gives the wall sail a subtle appearance, HOFA PureAkust offers outstanding absorption performance. With the optionally available HOFA PureFix mounting set, the distance of the sail from the wall can be increased, significantly improving absorption at low frequencies.
In typical applications, the wall sail meets sound absorber class A (according to EN ISO 11654). It has significantly higher absorption than industry-standard products (up to 55% higher compared to melamine resin foam and up to 70% higher compared to convoluted foam of the same thickness).
